The Republic of Moldova faces a complex landscape of internal and external challenges that threaten its democratic development and aspirations for European integration.
In response to this pressing issue, the team at InfoTrust Alliance-Moldova, together with IPIS (Institute for Strategic Initiatives) organized the Public Forum “Moldova on the Path to Europe: Countering Disinformation in Moldova’s EU Accession Referendum”.We had the honor of hosting distinguished guest speakers from Moldova, Ukraine, Austria, and Germany. Together, we explored Moldova’s future and discussed strategies for how our Small-Country-Big-Heart Nation can withstand regional and international geopolitical challenges.The insights and discussions from this event were invaluable in shaping our approach to building societal resilience against the spread of false information, inflationary narratives and strengthen our path towards European integration.InfoTrust Alliance-Moldova is a project implemented by GIZ Moldova, and financed by the German Federal Foreign Office.
