In the midst of the global race for vital raw materials and rare earth minerals , Europe stands at a crossroads in search of these strategic ingredients that are the lifeblood of the green transition and the digital revolution.
It was in 2022 when the President of the European Commission emphasized the importance of these raw materials as a linchpin of Europe’s future, and warned against a repeat of the old dependencies, which led to the weaponization of food, energy and fertilizers, largely due to Europe’s heavy dependence on Russian goods.
