Following the inspiring keynote speech delivered by H.E. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗵𝗻, European Commissioner for Budget and Administration, I had the opportunity to contribute to the high-level panel on the interplay between geopolitics, stability and prosperity in the Danube region.
Together with H.E. Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Mr Sava Mitrovic, Mr Timo Blenk, Mr Igor Studennikov, and Mr Mislav Kovač, I was engaged in a very interesting discussion on the future of our region.
By addressing the insightful questions posed by outstanding moderator Mr Greg Clark, I presented key achievements, but also explained the major obstacles in the EU accession process of the Western Balkan countries.
